Upcoming Activities

Sunday Church Class from 9:15 to 10:15 am in Room 305 (Sixth to Eighth Grades): All youth in middle school (Grades 6 -8) are welcome to join us for a time to reflect on your week, navigate scripture, and strengthen friendships.

Confirmation Class: Class is held on Sundays from 9:15 to 10:15 am in the Youth Lounge (302/304) unless otherwise noted.

Youth Fellowship from 12:00 to 1:30 pm in the Youth Lounge: Youth meet every other week (10/22, 11/05, 11/19, 12/03) and are split into Middle School and High School Youth Group. Meet first for lunch in the kitchen and then head upstairs. Youth parents, there are spots available to provide lunch or a heavy snack!

Sunday, November 5: We will make Thanksgiving baskest and pumpkin bread with BJC. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet youth from the Bethesda Jewish Congregation and SSL hours are available. We are looking for volunteers to help provide and serve lunch. Please contact a Youth Committee member to help.

Sunday November 19: We will hold Soup Sales after the 10:30 service in Covenant Hall. It’s that time of year again! The youth and the Youth Ministry Committee will serve delicious homemade soups (to eat immediately or to go!). A good-will offering will be collected with any proceeds going to benefit the youth 2018 summer trips.

It's time to start thinking about next summer's youth trips! Our youth trips are an unforgettable way for our youth to experience service and spiritual growth, as well as develop life-long friendships with Bradley Hills youth and other Presbyterian youth around the country. If you are interested in having your youth participate in any of our summer mission trips or youth conferences: Montreat for ninth - twelfth grades; Massanetta for sixth - ninth; and Appalachian Service Project  for ninth - twelfth, please contact Kori Phillips McMurtry or Matt Nabinger with any questions. Deposit for Appalachian Service Project is due October 29; deposits for Massanetta and Montreat are due November 1.

Youth Events: If youth or parents have ideas for activities, events or projects, either off campus or in homes, please let us know, and we will support you as you organize it! Contact Kori and the youth committee.

JOIN OUR YOUTH MINISTRY TEAM: As always, we welcome the involvement of parents and other church members in our youth programs. We welcome your commitment to our leaders of tomorrow. There are advisor opportunities and openings on the Youth Ministry Committee.

Ongoing Youth Fundraisers:

BHPC Tumblers: We still have a limited supply of BHPC tumblers for sale, which could make great stocking stuffers! Contact Amy de Court for purchase.

Goodsearch: Search the web and raise a penny for our cause! Do you know about Goodsearch.com? It's a search engine, just like Google, but every time you do a search, BHPC receives a penny!  There's also a shopping option as well and they're motto is "You Shop. You Save. We Give." The money raised goes towards our youth programming. Please consider changing your search engine to Goodsearch.com, select Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church as your charity of choice, and support our youth in the process!

Bread Fundraiser: Every Sunday, bread is donated from Breads Unlimited in Bethesda and displayed outside Kori’s office. You can find so many wonderful choices of breads to choose from. Donations are always appreciated. If you can help with pickup of the bread, please contact Amy de Court (amy@bradleyhillschurch.org).
